Today we are continuing our Sewing for Easter series with one of my favorites: Mom and Me sewing! My daughters are still into matching mom and I take full advantage of that before they are too cool for it. Today we are showing off the newly released Charlotte Dress for women and girls from Handmaidens Cottage.
The Charlotte Dress comes in a range of sizes from 3T to 14 for girls and 2 to 16 for women. Both patterns feature a beautiful scalloped collar and button up front, with a side zipper. Although the dress looks complicated, the steps are actually quite easy and it took about 2 evenings to make both dresses.
The gorgeous fabrics I used for the dresses are also from Handmaiden's Cottage. These prints are from the Mod Corsage collection by Anna Maria Horner.
We are uncharacteristically prepared for Easter early with dresses ready to go! They also worked pretty well for feeding the ducks as an after-picture-taking-treat for the little model.
