Sybil’s Illusion Skirt is a new pattern from Love Notions. It features 7 different skirt styles…seriously….7 styles are included! Skirt choices include pencil, a-line, drop yoke, asymmetrical wrap, gored, swing, and box pleated. 2 different length choices (knee and midi) and optional inseam pockets and control panel are also provided. That is a lot of variety packed into one pattern. It comes in sizes XS- XXXL. I made the drop waist version for my teenage daughter and she is super excited about this skirt. It has a great fit and style for my high school student.
This is a beginner level pattern and the drop waist version can be sewn in under a half hour. The designer lists the pattern pages to print for each version and uses layers so you print only what you need. The no trim pages are also a time saver which makes assembly and taping easy. Another nice feature is the table of contents along the side of each pattern page. Just click on the link and you go right to the selection.
Tester photos are included to provide inspiration and show examples of the different skirts. There is also a page of instructions about how to get the perfect fit. If you are looking for a skirt pattern for women, teens, or tweens, be sure to check out the Sybil Illusion Skirt by Love Notions.
