One Thimble Issue 12: Blog Tour

The 12th issue of One Thimble Magazine is now live, and we at Pattern Revolution couldn't be more excited.  There are 10 patterns that cover sewing for girls, boys, and women along with an adorable purse and quilted kite.  The variety is perfect to cover all of your sewing needs.  If you have never sewn from an e-zine before, here is what you can expect:

Detailed instructions for all patterns.  Don't worry, these are still the PDF patterns you know and love and you get FULL instructions with step by step images just like you would in a stand alone PDF pattern from your favorite designers.  The instructions are included in the layout of the magazine and are formatted beautifully so that you can follow along with ease.

Full digital pattern pieces.  Unlike some hold in your hand magazines where you need to trace off from a jumble of overlapping lines, use a grid to enlarge pieces to the correct size, or deal with tissue paper, One Thimble provides you with a zipped folder of all of the pattern pieces for each pattern.  Print what you need, save what you don't for later, and retain the ability to reprint the patterns whenever you need to.

Fun Articles.  I haven't read every article yet, but I am loving sipping some tea and pursuing small pieces at a time - it feels like such a guilty pleasure.  There is a great interview with 15 year old Connor O'Grady that I just loved - and you have to check out his sew tip for seamstresses of all levels, smart kid, I 100% agree!  Beyond the interview, there are articles about fabric, business savvy, tips for sewing with knits and special occasion fabric, and an awesome spread about spring cleaning your stash - for anyone looking to de-clutter, this is a must read!

Project Tutorials.  That's right, the magazine includes 10 full pdf patterns AND also includes some fun project tutorials within the magazine that you don't need pattern pieces for.

All of this makes for a great package to add to you sewing arsenol for the low price of just $25AUD, which for those of you state side is just $19.18 - that is less than $2 per pattern.  So snatch it up before it is gone!!!!
