Sewing for Easter: Katie Cat and Blushing Bunny from Violette Field Threads
/Yesterday was the first day of Spring and that means Easter is right around the corner! I always like to sew at least a dress for my girls for Easter, but this year we are looking at how to expand our Easter sewing. Today we are sharing the adorable stuffies from Violette Field Threads. These 18" dolls are a prefect basket addition and, even better, the 18" doll clothes patterns will also fit the stuffed animals. How cute! Chris and Weatherly sewed up the Katie Cat and the Blushing Bunny.

It was such a pleasure sewing up Violette Field Threads’ Katie Cat this week. She was easy to sew (in my opinion, the only tedious part was stuffing her) and the results are so darling. I can’t wait for my daughter to find Katie in her basket on Easter and I’m desperate to find time to make her a coordinating dress! If cats aren’t your thing, Violette Field Threads has six other animals to choose from!

Bunnies and Easter go hand in hand and the Violette Field Threads Blushing Bunny pattern is the perfect pattern to create your own bunny for this year. As soon as I finished it I handed it to my 14 month old daughter and she took it by the arm and ran off smiling and laughing!
