Modkid Kimono Wrap- Road Trip Pattern Tour

Today we're happy to be a tour stop for the Road Trip Pattern Club. Sending a big "thanks" to our friend Patty Young of Modkid for inviting us to review her Women's Kimono pattern. You can read all the details for the Road Trip Pattern Club over on Patty's Blog HERE.

Modkid Kimono Wrap

review by Kara Orr

The Kimono Wrap by Modkid is part of a new digital pattern club called Summer Road Trip Pattern Club.  Modkid is one of my favorite pattern shops, I want everything!  So let's talk about the Kimono Wrap pattern.

The Kimono Wrap does not have pattern pieces, the entire pattern is constructed using your own measurements.  There isn't a measurement chart, she guides you through taking your own measurements to customize the wrap just for you.

The instructions are very detailed with computer drawn graphics to guide you through the measuring, pinning and sewing process.

The Kimono is very simple to sew and took me about an hour to finish it up, especially since there are no pattern pieces to print!

If you need a cute summer cover up or a robe to wear around the house this summer, the Kimono Wrap is a good option.
