Little Kiwis Closet Orbit Skirt

Are you looking for that great skirt pattern to get you through the fall? The Orbit skirt has enough options that you can make a bunch of skirts for your little one and not have 2 the same! Check out Kim's review!

Hi, this is Kim again from Kimmie Sew Crazy. I am here today to review the Orbit Skirt by Little Kiwis Closet.

Where to start?  How about the endless options with this one.  I think I will have to put this as a list because really, there are that many options.

Hi-low Hem with- front curved up, front curved down (my snow white skirt), even hem (exp. my blue skirt)

Waist band- bias bound waistband, full elastic, flat front

Pockets-no pockets, tickle pocket, corner pocket, circular pocket

Yes, lots of options and I wish I had the time to make them all : ).  I did get the chance to make two versions. A skirt with a pretty denim color linen and Leicelin fabric pockets.  I used the flat front waistband and tickle pocket.  The pattern does not call for the raw edge as I have done but I thought I would mix it up a bit : ).  I also made a high low hemmed skirt with the circle pockets for an auction I participated in.  The skirt is sooo comfortable and the perfect length.  She loves it and thinks it is a twirl skirt but as you can tell, this is not a twirling skirt : ).

Both skirts came together very quickly.  They were quick to cut out and quick to sew together.  I think this will be one of those patterns I will be using for years.  10 more to be exact.

Thanks for reading my review!!!
