Cora by Simple Life Pattern Company

Hello everyone Nacole here with my review of the Cora from Simple Life Pattern Company. Awe Summer time! Time for sunshine, sandy toes, and lemonade!! With the heat of the sun coming down it's always nice to be in some cool and comfortable clothing while enjoying that beautiful weather outside and sipping on pink lemonade! This adorable dress is both cute and a fast sew as it took about an hour to create!

The Cora pattern includes a top, dress and maxi option. It includes measurements for addingone or two ruffles to the bottom of the dress and maxi. The front bodice has a high neckline is perfect for adding monogramming appliques, unique fabric placements and even the beautiful wave pleats that is included in the pattern. SLPCo's patterns always include step by step clear instructions in their patterns and this is no different. The wave pleat looks intimidating however it's quite easy!

The back bodice has a curved shape to it for more coverage and has two elastic strips for the perfect fit! The ties can be either one to tie in the middle or two to tie at the sides. For my review I made a size 5t and the fit was perfect. I love the back bodice the way it has a curve to it instead of the more common straight back to give more coverage along the sides. The best thing about this dress is with the elastic back and the bodice ties we will get more wear out of it as she grows!!

The awesome headpiece was made by Madd Hatter Bowtique . I’ve had it quite some time waiting for the perfect pattern and fabric to come along. The fabric is from Mama made and Beautiful. The Cora was just the right slice i've been looking for!

I see more of these fun dresses in our future for summer ! I hope you buy the pattern and sharewhat you create in the Pattern Revolution group!
