The Fighter Tee Blog Tour-A Pattern for a Good Cause

Here at Pattern Revolution, we love sewing and we love kids.  We also love sewing to help kids so when the opportunity to help promote the new Fighter Tee by Handmade Boy came up, we were eager to jump on board!

This tee is a very special tee.  It was designed by Kelly of Handmade boy and drafted by Tami of Love Notions for the purpose of raising money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.  Kelly is completing a run to raise money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and is donating ALL of the proceeds from the sale of this pattern towards her goal of raising $1000.  St. Jude treats children with cancer and other life-threatening diseases free of charge to the families, so donations are essential to their continued success in helping kiddos overcome their illnesses.  I can't think of a better reason to buy a pattern than to help further their work.  And the best part about it is that you'll be getting a GREAT pattern while you are helping children. Win-win, right?

So let's talk about the pattern. This is a relaxed fit, knit pattern with a cute contrasting panel on the side an sleeve to add some little punches of color and fun details.  This tee is perfect for panels and color blocking, plus it works for boys and girls so everyone can have a great shirt. Rebekah did this version with an adorable dog print for her even more adorable son.  He loves the shirt!

Jackie also joined in on the fun with a version for both her kiddos.  These pokemon versions are sure to have these guys hunting and playing all day long!

So what are you waiting for? Go grab your copy here and help raise money for a great cause while sewing a great pattern.  If you're not up for a sewing project but still want to help, you can donate directly to Kelly's fundraising page.
